Are you an ACCA or ICAS qualified accountant looking to take the next step in your career within the growing alternative investment funds sector?
We are working with a leading Financial Services organisation in Glasgow who are looking to appoint an experienced Fund Accountant on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with a strong audit, accounting, or funds background to develop their career within alternative funds.
About the Role
As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of accounting and financial reporting activities across a portfolio of alternative investment funds.

- Preparing and reviewing fund accounts and financial statements
- Calculating and reviewing NAVs
- Maintaining fund accounting records and supporting reconciliations
- Working with complex investment structures and transactions
- Supporting year-end audits and liaising with external auditors
- Preparing investor and financial reporting
- Ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant accounting and regulatory requirements
- Building strong relationships with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders
Requirements
Applicants should be ACCA or ICAS qualified and have gained experience in fund accounting, audit, or financial accounting. Additionally, applicants should be strong technically, with excellent attention to detail. It is important applicants have first-class communication skills and be confident in liaising with clients and stakeholders.
