We are working with a leading pan-European real estate investment manager to recruit a Fund Accountant / Senior Fund Accountant.
Working alongside experienced Fund Controllers, you will take ownership of the quarterly reporting cycle for one or more funds. This will cover recurring financial reporting, administrator oversight, audit, investor reporting and wider fund finance activity.
The role would suit someone who can quickly pick up an established reporting process, work independently and manage multiple priorities across reporting, audit and transaction activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of the financial aspects of one or more closed-ended real estate private equity funds
- Overseeing external fund administrators across quarterly and annual reporting, audited financial statements, capital calls and distributions
- Preparing and reviewing NAV, IFRS to INREV NAV reconciliations, partners' capital account statements and investor reporting
- Managing fund cash and liquidity, including monitoring revolving credit facilities and future funding requirements
- Supporting year-end audits and overseeing local accountants across subsidiary accounts and filings
- Supporting finance workstreams relating to disposals and other asset-level transactions
- Reviewing accounting treatments, closing accounts and supporting transaction processes
- Responding to investor queries and supporting DDQs, RFPs and wider client reporting
- Working closely with auditors, tax advisers, local accountants, JV partners and other third-party providers
- Managing competing priorities across reporting deadlines, audits and transaction activity
- Using AI and technology tools to improve reporting and finance processes

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
