The Role: Fund Accountant

Location: London
Industry: Private Equity

An opportunity to join an established private equity investment manager, working closely with the fund accounting team in a flat structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support accounting and financial reporting for private equity funds and investment holding entities.
  • Assist with capital calls, distributions and investor capital account reconciliations.
  • Record investment acquisitions, disposals, income and fund expenses.
  • Support quarterly NAV reporting, incorporating investment valuations provided by the investment team.
  • Assist with management fee calculations and carried interest workings.
  • Monitor fund liquidity and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  • Liaise with fund administrators and support annual audits.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and investment data in Investran.

Prior Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Fund Accounting preferred)
  • Experience within private equity or other Financial Services is advantageous
  • Experience using Investran
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Pivot tables, etc)
  • Strong academics at A level & University
  • Part-qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification
