About the Company
We are a provider of specialized fund administration services for Managers and General Partners of private equity funds, specifically: Buy‐out, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Fund‐of‐Funds. For new General Partners, we provide consulting services to help accelerate the launch of their funds in addition to our full fund administration services. For established General Partners, we provide administration services and technology to whole fund families or select funds, to help scale their fund operations rapidly and efficiently.
Overall Responsibilities
- Assist with the routine day‐to‐day accounting of high profiled Private Equity structures and investments.
- Ensure all work undertaken complies with fund documentation and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Deliver work in line with the Service Level Document.
- Prepare and self‐review all work to a high standard.
- Build and promote excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Communicate any issues with manager.

Job Description
- Prepare the bookkeeping for Private Equity structures and investments.
- Prepare the posting and reconciliation of cash position for funds.
- Prepare and assist with the calculation and posting of accruals and prepayments.
- Assist with all aspects of the recording and reconciliation of investment fund positions.
- Assist with drafting and preparing responses to audit, investor and client queries.
- Maintain accurate records on AllVue and Excel working papers for funds and related entities.
- Receive continued in‐house professional development on accounting standards and industry updates.
Qualifications

- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) (2:1 and above desirable).
- Meticulous and have an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- A keen awareness and interest in the alternative asset classes.
- Good time management skills and being able to manage multiple deadlines.
- A desire to become a qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) supported by Standish.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong communication and numeracy skills.
