Fund Accounting Data Migration Consultant (5m Contract)

Location: London

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Duration: 5-month contract

Rate: £550-£700 per day

We are recruiting for an established investment business that is undertaking a significant upgrade of its Real Estate finance and technology infrastructure.

They are looking for an experienced contractor who can bridge the gap between Fund Accounting and Technology, with a particular focus on complex investment data, SQL and systems migration.

Role Overview

This is a broad, hands-on role. You will work closely with Finance, Investment and Technology teams to understand how accounting and investment data currently flows through the business, identify potential data and reconciliation issues and help prepare the environment for migration onto a new platform.

A major part of the assignment will involve interrogating and analysing large financial datasets using SQL, understanding relationships between funds, investments, entities, transactions and balances, and ensuring information remains complete and accurate as it moves between systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
