Fund Controller

Felbridge Partners are working exclusively with a London-based private credit fund manager to appoint a Fund Controller at an exciting stage of the firm's growth. With a new fundraise on the horizon, the finance function sits at the heart of the business. The team works in close partnership with the investment team on deal execution, portfolio monitoring, and strategic decision-making.

This is also a firm actively investing in the technology and data infrastructure that will define how it operates over the next decade. This hire is central to that agenda.

This is not a traditional fund controller position. Yes, the successful candidate will own the financial integrity of the fund, but the greater part of their energy will be directed at two things: giving the investment team the financial insight they need to make better decisions and building the automated, scalable infrastructure that means the business doesn't simply grow headcount every time AUM grows.

Reporting directly to the COO and working alongside the investment team daily, this is a role with a genuine seat at the table.

Responsibilities

Investment Support & Commercial Insight

  • Act as financial partner to the investment team, providing analysis, modelling support and portfolio performance insight that directly informs deployment decisions
  • Build and maintain portfolio-level dashboards giving real-time visibility into credit performance, covenant headroom and cash flow across the book
  • Work closely with deal teams on new transactions, reviewing financial structures, stress-testing assumptions and identifying risks from a fund finance perspective
  • Support the preparation of investment committee materials from a finance and valuation standpoint

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
