The Role: Senior Fund Controller (Real Estate Debt)
The Location: London City Centre
The Client: Globally Renowned Real Estate Investment Manager
This is a great opportunity to join a Real Estate Investment firm specialising in their Debt Funds where they are actively investing and currently fundraising for their other funds - you'll gain great exposure from Senior Management and be constantly dealing with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
The Responsibilities:
- Oversight of third party administrators, consolidation and reporting process for all the funds including quarterly/annual financial statements, investor reporting, annual financial accounts and investor requests
- Oversight of Tax and Audit processes, including fee negotiations & scope determination
- Serve as a single point of contact for internal fund managers, portfolio & asset managers, and administrators in relation to the structures for the enforced positions
- Oversight for cash management of the funds, including calculation of investor calls and distributions
- Assist in due diligence and structuring of new debt investments.
- Managing two Fund controllers, providing guidance / training, and running yearly appraisal process

The Requirements:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA equivalent)
- Real Estate Fund Finance is essential (Real Estate Debt would be advantageous)
- Experience with working in an in-house Fund finance function
- Relevant experience dealing with outsourced providers, and dealing with stakeholders throughout the transaction period for acquisition to disposals (Tax, Legal, Investor Relations, Deal team etc)
- Good understanding of Real Estate debt fund structures
