A brilliant opportunity for someone with strong CLO accounting / fund control experience to join a leading global, multi-strategy hedge fund.
We’re looking for a Controller to take significant ownership of the accounting, reporting and financial control across the firm’s CLO platform.
This is not simply a NAV review role.
You’ll sit at the intersection of fund accounting, structured credit and operations, working closely with the investment team as well as trustees, administrators, collateral agents and auditors.
The role will cover:
- Oversight of the full accounting lifecycle across CLO vehicles
- CLO waterfalls, payment dates and OC/IC compliance reporting
- Review of trustee and administrator reporting and NAVs
- Daily/monthly P&L review and investigation of breaks
- Management and investor reporting
- Financial statements and external audit
- Controls and reconciliations across internal books, trustees and administrators
- Supporting new CLO issuances, resets, refinancings and wind-downs
- Improving and automating existing reporting processes

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We’re particularly interested in people who have reached the point where they want to move beyond simply producing or administering the numbers and take greater ownership and control of the CLO finance function from the manager side.
Ideally 5–10+ years' experience, with an accounting qualification advantageous but not essential for the right CLO specialist.
The platform is sophisticated, global and fast-paced, with plenty of opportunity to improve processes and make an impact.
