We are working with a leading credit manager running several distinct strategies, including distressed, structured credit, and long/short credit. The strategies sit across a number of separate vehicles, including commingled funds, CLOs, and SMAs. As the platform continues to grow, the firm is now looking to add a Fund Controller to its finance team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role covering independent valuation of positions across the firm's vehicles, with particular emphasis on credit products including loans, bonds, CDS, and structured credit instruments. Responsibilities will include NAV oversight, price verification and challenge, liaison with fund administrators and pricing vendors, and production of P&L and financial reporting across the different funds, CLOs, and SMAs. There is also real scope to shape how the function operates, identifying and implementing improvements to controls, workflows, and reporting processes as the platform scales.

Qualifications
The firm is looking for a qualified accountant with excellent attention to detail and an understanding of valuation methodology across credit products. It is also important to have good initiative and be interested in proactively identifying inefficiencies and driving process improvement across the function.
Compensation
Compensation is highly competitive and will be structured based on the candidate's experience, alongside a strong benefits package.
