The Role & Company
An excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded alternative investment manager with a leading private credit platform at an exciting stage of its development.
The business is continuing to expand, with increasing complexity across its fund structures, investment strategies and asset classes. Alongside that growth, there is significant investment being made in technology, systems and automation, creating an environment where the finance function is evolving rather than simply maintaining existing processes.
The Fund Control team has broad responsibility across fund reporting, performance analysis, valuations, administrator oversight and investor reporting. This role therefore offers considerably more exposure than a traditional fund accounting position.
You will join a collaborative, high-quality team with a strong culture and approachable people, while benefiting from the strong brand and infrastructure. There is genuine scope to take ownership, broaden your responsibilities and develop as the platform continues to grow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
