Fund Finance Associate (3-8 PQE) - London - Elite International Law Firm

An outstanding opportunity for a Fund Finance Associate (3-8 PQE) to join a leading international law firm's highly regarded Corporate Finance team in London.

The team advises many of the world's leading financial institutions, investment funds, asset managers and corporate borrowers on sophisticated fund finance transactions across the UK, Europe and international markets.

The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on complex subscription line facilities, NAV financings, GP-led transactions, hybrid facilities and other bespoke fund finance products, whilst working closely with highly regarded partners in a collaborative and high-performing environment.

This position offers exposure to some of the most significant and innovative fund finance transactions in the market and represents an excellent platform for continued career progression.

The Role

  • Advising lenders and borrowers on a broad range of fund finance transactions including subscription facilities, NAV facilities and hybrid structures
  • Acting for leading financial institutions, private equity sponsors, credit funds and alternative asset managers
  • Supporting complex domestic and cross-border financing arrangements across multiple jurisdictions
  • Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documentation and ancillary finance documents
  • Advising on fund structures, investor considerations and collateral packages
  • Working closely with colleagues across banking, private equity, funds and corporate teams on integrated transactions
  • Managing transactions day-to-day whilst maintaining strong client relationships and providing commercial advice

The Candidate

  • England & Wales qualified Solicitor with approximately 3-8 years' PQE
  • Strong Fund Finance, Leveraged Finance, Banking or Corporate Finance experience
  • Experience advising on complex financing transactions with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills
  • Strong technical ability combined with commercial judgement and attention to detail
  • Confidence working directly with clients and managing matters autonomously
  • Experience gained within a Magic Circle, US or other leading international law firm
