Description
An exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a growing alternative investment business as a Fund Finance Manager, overseeing fund reporting, investor reporting, audit, tax, and valuation activities.
Reporting to the Head of Fund Finance, you will take ownership of quarterly fund and investor reporting processes, working closely with junior team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery. You will also manage relationships with external auditors, fund administrators, and tax advisers. The role will involve supporting the valuation of portfolio assets and the external valuation review process, as well as preparing management reporting and analysis on fund performance and key metrics.
As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities to contribute to finance transformation and process improvement initiatives, including leveraging technology to improve reporting, analysis, and process efficiency.

Skills
The skills of the Fund Finance Manager include, but are not limited to:
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
- 3+ years’ post-qualified experience with at least a year within an alternative investment environment is a must.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, fund accounting, and valuation techniques.
- Experience managing fund reporting, investor reporting, and external audit processes.
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and external advisers.
- A proactive approach to process improvement and finance transformation.
- Experience with Power BI, Python, AI, or data warehouses/lakes would be advantageous.
