What it's about

In this position, you have the opportunity to play an important role in Partners Group’s Capital Markets Team. You will be responsible for all fund finance related aspects of the direct and secondaries strategies as well as evergreen products across Partners Group’s Equity, Infrastructure, Private Debt, Real Estate and Royalties asset classes. Facility types include subscription lines, NAV, hybrid, evergreen liquidity lines, SMAs and investment specific financing backed by funds.

For this unique opportunity, we are looking for a person who works well in a global organisation and is a self-starter with strong interpersonal, communication and execution skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Independently structure and negotiate financings across different funds/products and asset classes
  • Proactively generate value enhancing ideas and solutions for products/funds and lead the implementation
  • Build relationships internally with key stakeholders to deliver financing solutions and identify and manage risks
  • Maintain and expand relationships with banks, institutional investors, legal counsel, peers at asset managers and other market participants
  • Maintain responsibility for a portfolio of credit facilities and operate within stated risk tolerances
  • Develop and grow individual team members
  • Work within and develop control frameworks to ensure efficient operations whilst minimising risk

What we expect

  • 10+ years of fund financing and/or capital markets experience in a leading bank, asset management firm or law firm
  • Proven track record of independently structuring and negotiating innovative financing solutions across different products and asset classes
  • Extensive network in the private markets' community, among lenders, asset managers and law firms
  • Fast paced, solution focused mindset
  • Excellent understanding of the fund financing markets including subscription lines, NAV facilities and hybrids, their credit risk and commercial and legal terms
  • Excellent analytical skills and negotiation skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Teamworker with self-drive and a strong desire to contribute and make a difference
