A leading UK wealth and investment management business is seeking an experienced Fund Sales Specialist to drive the growth of its investment fund range across the UK intermediary market.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing sales professional with a strong network across IFAs, wealth managers, discretionary fund managers, and investment gatekeepers. You'll play a key role in growing assets under management by developing new relationships, identifying opportunities, and promoting a comprehensive range of investment solutions.

The role is home-based with regular travel across the UK and offers the autonomy to build and execute your own business development strategy while working closely with a highly regarded investment and distribution team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the UK intermediary and DFM market.
  • Build and manage relationships with financial advisers, wealth managers, investment consultants, and gatekeepers.
  • Generate net new asset flows through the promotion of a diverse investment proposition.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and deliver against ambitious sales targets.
  • Present investment solutions confidently and effectively to professional audiences.
  • Collaborate with investment specialists, marketing, client support, and senior distribution colleagues to maximize commercial opportunities.
  • Remain informed on industry developments, market trends, and regulatory requirements affecting fund distribution.
  • Ensure all business activity is conducted in line with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty requirements.

Investment Proposition

The successful individual will represent a broad suite of investment solutions including:

  • Multi-asset strategies
  • Single-asset-class funds
  • Active and passive investment solutions
  • Sustainable investment funds
  • Inheritance tax planning solutions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • At least five years' experience within investment management, fund sales, or financial services distribution.
  • A proven track record of raising assets and winning business within the UK intermediary market.
  • Established relationships across financial advisers, wealth managers, and discretionary investment firms.
  • Strong investment knowledge and understanding of fund-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A highly organized and self-motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
  • Good understanding of the UK adviser landscape, retirement market, and broader wealth management sector.
  • The ability to operate successfully within a regulated environment.
  • QCA Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
