Job Purpose

To provide high quality Technical Training to the Dealer network and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver fundamental technical training to dealer apprentices at Basildon Training Centre, colleges, and dealer locations.
  • To prepare courses and set up the classroom and workshop facilities.
  • To complete all paperwork associated with running a course in a timely and proficient manner.
  • To update courses and liaise with the training manager on the content.
  • To prepare training exercises in order to develop practical skills.
  • To be responsible for health and safety and the general conduct of technicians whilst they are on training courses.
  • To report any relevant information regarding product or dealer business issues to the training manager.
  • To be able to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
  • To identify any opportunities that may arise to offer training to the dealer network.
  • Be the day-to-day contact for our apprentice training partners.

Experience Required

  • Ability to learn technical topics.
  • Sound technical understanding of hydraulics, electrics, engines, and powertrains.
  • Knowledge of CNH products an advantage.
  • Knowledge of agricultural or similar industries.
  • Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Clear speaking voice and good diction.
  • People skills and ability to motivate.
  • Inquisitive personality.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Passion for transferring the knowledge to the younger generation.
