Funding and Performance Data Analyst
£40,547 - £43,181 per annum 37.5 hours per week Permanent
About the Role
As Funding and Performance Data Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effective use of funding and performance data across the organisation. You will provide insightful analysis and reporting that supports strategic planning, operational decision making, and continuous improvement.
- Managing funding-related data validation and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to statutory and funding body requirements
- Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide meaningful business insights
- Producing accurate and timely performance reports to support planning, monitoring, and decision-making
- Analysing learner and organisational performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Supporting statutory returns, funding claims, and internal reporting requirements
- Improving reporting processes through automation and effective data management practices
- Working collaboratively with Curriculum, Quality, Finance, and MIS teams to support planning, performance monitoring, and quality improvement
- Providing data-driven insight and recommendations to inform strategic and operational objectives
- Ensuring robust data governance and maintaining confidence in organisational data
- Fostering a data-informed culture that supports continuous improvement and evidence-based decision making
About You
You will:
- Enjoy working with data and using insights to support continuous improvement
- Have excellent attention to detail and be committed to producing accurate, high-quality work
- Be able to interpret complex information and communicate findings clearly to a range of audiences
- Build positive working relationships and work effectively with colleagues across different teams
- Be organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Understand the importance of confidentiality, compliance, and data governance
- Take a proactive approach to problem solving and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Be motivated by helping others make informed decisions through high-quality analysis and reporting
