Remote | Full Time Permanent | £30K

ALF Recruit are supporting a growing organisation within the specialist education and care sector with the appointment of a Funding Coordinator.

This is a varied role supporting funding, bids, tenders, contracts, and stakeholder relationships, working closely with the Bids and Contracts Manager and wider teams across the organisation. The role is fully remote, with occasional travel to the head office in Leeds.

The Role:

You’ll play an important role in coordinating funding and tender activity, supporting relationships with local authorities, and ensuring key contract and CRM information is accurate and up to date.

  • Coordinate funding uplift processes across Education, Supported Accommodation, and Residential divisions
  • Support negotiations and meetings with local authorities
  • Prepare offer proposals for internal review and approval
  • Identify and monitor bid and tender opportunities through procurement portals
  • Support the preparation and submission of SQs, tender questionnaires, and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate input from internal subject matter experts and maintain bid trackers
  • Support tender drafting, quality assurance, and clarification processes
  • Maintain and audit contract records within Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy
  • Provide wider project and administrative support to the Bids and Contracts Manager and management team

Profile:

We’re looking for an organised and proactive coordinator who enjoys working across multiple projects and stakeholders.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in project coordination, bid coordination, contracts, or administration
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships, ideally within the public sector or education
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Experience using CRM systems – Salesforce desirable
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • A proactive approach to identifying issues and finding solutions
