Role Description
This is a part-time remote Fundraiser role focused on supporting Hope for Children’s programs and initiatives. The Fundraiser will research and identify potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities, and help maintain a pipeline of prospects. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Drafting compelling fundraising appeals and proposals
- Assisting with donor outreach and follow-up
- Supporting virtual fundraising campaigns and events
- Maintaining accurate records of donations
- Preparing simple reports on fundraising activities
- Coordinating with internal teams to align messaging with program needs

The Fundraiser will work independently while collaborating online with colleagues to meet fundraising targets and strengthen donor relationships.
Qualifications
- Fundraising and donor relations skills, including experience with outreach, stewardship, or basic grant research
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive messages for diverse audiences
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records
- Digital literacy, including comfort with email, online collaboration tools, and basic use of fundraising or CRM platforms
- Interest or experience in the nonprofit or child-focused sector, with a commitment to equity, inclusion, and child protection principles
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, both independently and as part of a dispersed team
- Relevant education or training in fundraising, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field is beneficial
- Prior experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or community outreach is an advantage but not strictly required
