About the Role

We’re a grassroots charity tackling the climate crisis with Carbon Accounts making CO₂ visible, accountable, and fair. Help us grow a local movement and inspire national change, while getting involved in all facets of our activities as part of a fundraising team.

What difference will you make?

You’ll be key to turning EcoCounts’ vision into action. By helping us secure resources, you’ll enable our carbon accounting community to grow, making CO₂ emissions personal, visible and manageable for individuals, communities and organisations.

Your impact will be felt in several ways:

  • Enabling local action
Funding workshops, meet-ups and carbon budgeting tools that empower communities.
  • Building a national model
Supporting pilots that could influence policy with tested, evidence-based approaches.
  • Attracting allies
A strong fundraising plan builds credibility and draws in partners and funders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This role goes beyond raising funds – it’s about helping shift the climate story from despair to empowerment, proving that collective action can drive a fair and science-based transition.

What are we looking for?

The climate crisis isn’t being solved by business as usual, so we need people who think differently. If you’ve already done fundraising that starts with a bold idea and distils it into a winning workstream, that’s fantastic. If not, but you’re eager to learn, we’ll work with you to build the skills and insight, whether you're a fundraising beginner, a graduate wanting to broaden your skills, or a retiree looking to give back.

We seek individuals who are:

  • Curious about how funders and donors think
  • Creative in shaping messages that resonate
  • Persistent in research, outreach, and relationship-building
  • Experienced in fundraising, marketing, social media, communications, journalism or any transferable area
