What difference will you make?
Our ability to provide our services free or accessibly is entirely reliant on funding. We cannot stress enough the importance of this role and the difference a good fundraising strategy and bid writing ability would have.
Our work makes a huge difference to people's lives, from entertaining families across the UK to doing outreach with minority groups and providing career development programs for young aspiring artists and those identified as NEET. None of it is possible without support so in (almost) the legendary words of Gerry Maguire - please "help us help them!"

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What are we looking for?
The ideal person will be bright, focused, and have a good understanding of what funding bodies are looking for.
- The ability to write clearly and concisely but also convincingly is imperative.
- Good organisation and punctuality because funding applications often come with deadlines.
- It would be great if the person had good social skills and an independent drive in order to seek out and build legacy relationships with individual givers as well as organisations but this is not as important as diligence and commitment.
