We would like to increase the amount of income we receive via Individual Giving. We have a large global community of 27,000 people, including a large network of alumni.

What difference will you make?

Over the past two years we have seen a significant drop in Corporate income and therefore would really appreciate some help diversifying where our income comes from.

Our number one goal at codebar is making sure everything is accessible, this means keeping everything free. Your impact will be to increase income to cover all of our infrastructure costs.

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated initiative, commitment, and follow-through.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to plan, and prioritise.
  • Experience in fundraising, marketing, events, or business development.
  • Understanding of the international development or education charity landscape.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, dispersed team.
  • Proficiency in basic digital tools (email, shared drives, social media).
  • Alignment with codebar's values and passion for our mission.

What will you be doing?

You will play a key role in helping us develop and execute our Individual Giving fundraising strategy. Working alongside the Director, you will help secure vital income that allows us to keep all our workshops and events free.

You will

  • Help plan and deliver fundraising campaigns, and appeals.
  • Research and identify funding opportunities that we're missing out on.
  • Work with our Director to promote fundraising activities through social media, local press, and community networks.
