Fundraiser (Part-Time)

Cotswold RDA is more than a riding school. We are a welcoming, inclusive community that supports children and adults living with disabilities through the therapeutic benefits of horses and ponies.
Our riders, their families and carers, volunteers, and our much-loved herd of 14 ponies are at the heart of everything we do. We create opportunities for people to build confidence, improve wellbeing, develop skills and experience the joy of connection.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated part-time Fundraiser to join our small, spirited team and help secure the income that makes this work possible.
The role
This is a varied and rewarding employed role for someone with proven fundraising skills and a desire to make a tangible difference in their local community.
- You will help Cotswold RDA raise the approximately £350,000 in annual revenue needed to continue delivering life-enhancing services for children and adults living with disabilities.
- You will develop and strengthen income from a range of sources, with particular focus on:
- Corporate partnerships and company giving
- Trusts and foundations
- Grant applications, reporting and grant management
- Donor engagement and stewardship
- Identifying and developing new fundraising opportunities

The role is primarily remote, with flexibility around working hours. However, you will need to attend meetings at our centre at Cheltenham Racecourse.
About you
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in fundraising, grant writing, donor engagement, corporate partnerships or company giving
- A strong track record of writing compelling funding applications and securing grants
- Experience of building positive relationships with donors, funders, businesses and other stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities independently
- A positive, proactive and collaborative approach
- A genuine commitment to inclusion and improving the lives of people living with disabilities

Experience of working in the charity sector is desirable, but not essential. Experience in the disability or equestrian sectors is also welcomed but not required.
