Fundraising Volunteer
The Fundraising Volunteer plays an important role in helping the USPCA raise essential funds that support the work of the charity. Working closely with the Community Fundraiser and wider fundraising team, volunteers act as ambassadors for the charity, helping to build positive relationships with supporters while increasing awareness of the organisation's mission and impact.
A key responsibility of the role is supporting fundraising events, collections, and community activities. This may involve attending local events, assisting with donation collections, engaging with members of the public, and helping to create a welcoming and positive experience for supporters. Volunteers are expected to represent the USPCA professionally and communicate the charity’s values and objectives in a friendly and approachable manner.
Another important aspect of the role is providing practical support before, during, and after events. This includes helping with event set up, preparing fundraising materials, distributing promotional information and packing away equipment at the end of events. By contributing to the smooth running of events, volunteers help maximise fundraising opportunities and ensure a positive experience for participants and donors.
The role also requires volunteers to follow all organisational policies, procedures, and fundraising regulations. Maintaining high standards of professionalism is essential when volunteering. Volunteers must also ensure that any sensitive information they encounter is treated confidentially and handled appropriately.
Key Responsibilities

- Assisting with the delivery of fundraising events and community initiatives.
