Fundraiser (Community)

📍 Milton Hospice, Cambridge (CB24 6AB)
⏰ Full-time or Part-time (minimum 30 hours per week)
📄 Permanent
💰 £26,000 FTE per annum (pro rata for part-time hours)

Are you committed to building relationships and making a difference in your local community? Join East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) as a Community Fundraiser and help raise vital funds and awareness for children and young people receiving hospice care and their families.

The role

You'll work with supporters, volunteers, community groups, and local businesses across Cambridgeshire and West Essex to develop fundraising opportunities and deliver an excellent supporter experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with supporters, community groups, and local organizations.
  • Support and encourage a wide range of fundraising activities.
  • Represent EACH at community events, presentations, and hospice tours.
  • Recruit, support, and coordinate volunteers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across fundraising, marketing, and other teams.
  • Maintain accurate supporter records and database information.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in a customer, client, or community-facing role.
  • Enjoys building relationships and engaging with a wide range of people.
  • Has effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Has an interest in charity and community fundraising.

  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
  • Flexibility to attend occasional evening and weekend events.
