An exciting role for an experienced, proactive and values driven fundraiser to join a small but mighty team.

In this role, you will work closely with the Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to drive forward the new fundraising strategy, that will grow voluntary income year on year to enable the charity to respond to an increase in demand in homelessness prevention and reach more people in need.

We need someone equipped ready to raise The Bridge’s community profile, engage new supporters, and champion our work, so that we can help prevent homelessness for more people at risk. Through awareness raising activities, creating and overseeing digital and in-person campaigns, and building meaningful relationships with new and existing supporters, corporate partners and individual donors, this role is key to the strategic voluntary income growth for the charity.

About the role

You will:

  • Develop and deliver community fundraising activities and supporter engagement campaigns.
  • Build relationships with businesses, schools, community groups and individual supporters.
  • Represent The Bridge at third party events and networking opportunities.
  • Create engaging digital content across social media, website and fundraising campaigns.
  • Support the delivery of flagship fundraising events, including our Annual Gala and Golf Day.
  • Help grow digital giving and supporter engagement.
  • Track and report on fundraising activity and impact.

About you

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • At least two years’ experience in fundraising, within the charity sector.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with a genuine interest and enthusiasm for people.
  • Experience creating engaging social media and digital content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and contribute positively to a small team.
  • A passion for supporting people at risk of homelessness.
