Fields of Life is a Christian charity, inspired and guided by Christian faith, ethos and values. We have over thirty-three years’ experience working in East Africa with projects in Uganda, Rwanda, and South Sudan. Fields of Life seeks to transform the lives of more than 1 million of the most vulnerable and marginalized children and young people in East Africa through the provision of quality education, clean water, health promotion and other community-based programmes. Role Description
Fields of Life is seeking a passionate and relational Fundraising & Relationships Manager to help grow our work across Dublin and the Republic of Ireland.
Working closely with the Head of Ireland, you will develop relationships with individuals, businesses, churches, trusts and foundations who share our vision of transforming lives through education, clean water and community development in East Africa.

The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising, relationship management, business development or partnerships, excellent communication skills and a personal Christian faith.
Essential Experience
- Demonstrable experience in fundraising, relationship management, business development, partnerships, account management or a comparable outward-facing role.
- A track record of building strong, trusted relationships and moving them towards a clear outcome.
- Confidence in meeting new people, opening conversations and making an appropriate financial or partnership ask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Strong planning, organisation and follow-up, with the ability to manage a varied portfolio and competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and contribute as part of a collaborative team.
- Good digital skills and confidence using CRM systems, Microsoft 365 and online meeting tools.
- Commitment to accurate record keeping, confidentiality, GDPR, safeguarding and ethical fundraising.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for meetings and events.

Desirable Experience
- Experience of major gifts, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, church fundraising or philanthropic relationship management.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM to manage a pipeline or portfolio.
- Knowledge of the charity and fundraising environment in the Republic of Ireland.
- An understanding of international development and communicating impact responsibly.
- Experience preparing proposals, cases for support, presentations or donor reports.
- Existing networks within Dublin, the wider Republic of Ireland, churches, business or philanthropy.

- A personal Christian faith and an ability to represent authentically the Christian ethos and mission of the charity are important requirements of this role.
