Help a growing Birmingham CIC secure sustainable funding and reach more young people, families and communities. Use your fundraising and bid-writing expertise to identify opportunities, strengthen applications and help turn our community impact into long-term change.
What difference will you make?
As a small grassroots CIC, the right funding can directly determine how many people we are able to support and how consistently we can be there for our communities.
Your expertise will help us move from responding to individual funding opportunities towards building a more strategic and sustainable approach to fundraising. This will give us greater stability, allow us to plan programmes with confidence and help us reach more children, young people, families and communities across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Importantly, your contribution will have an impact beyond the applications you support. By helping us develop a stronger funding pipeline, compelling cases for support and better fundraising processes, you will leave Integrate Hope with skills and resources we can continue using long after your involvement.
Ultimately, successful funding enables real activity on the ground: safe spaces, mentoring, wellbeing and physical activity programmes, employability opportunities, empowerment support and positive experiences for people who may otherwise miss out.

Ideally, you will have experience of successfully developing grant applications, funding bids or cases for support within the charity, CIC, community or wider voluntary sector.
We would particularly value someone with experience of
- Researching and identifying suitable trusts, foundations and grant opportunities
- Writing or reviewing successful funding applications
- Understanding funder priorities, eligibility criteria and assessment processes
- Developing compelling cases for support and evidence of need
- Using outcomes, impact data and participant stories effectively within bids
- Understanding project budgets and ensuring applications are realistic and fundable
- Developing funding pipelines or longer-term fundraising strategies
You do not need experience in every area. The most important things are strong written communication, attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to translate our community work into a compelling proposition for funders.
We would love someone who is proactive and comfortable bringing their own ideas. As a small CIC, we can be flexible and responsive, so there is genuine scope for you to influence how we approach fundraising rather than simply being given applications to complete.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who believes in community-led change and understands the value that grassroots organisations can bring to children, young people, families and communities.

Integrate Hope CIC is looking for an experienced Fundraising & Bid Writing Lead to help us build a stronger and more sustainable funding pipeline as we enter our next stage of growth.
Working closely with our Founder/CEO, you will
- Research and identify suitable grants, trusts, foundations and other funding opportunities aligned with our work
- Help maintain and prioritise our funding pipeline and upcoming deadlines
- Support the development and writing of compelling funding applications
- Review and strengthen applications before submission, bringing an experienced funder's perspective
- Help develop strong, reusable cases for support, organisational information and programme narratives
- Advise on funder requirements, eligibility, budgets and evidence of need
- Help us use programme outcomes, participant feedback and impact evidence effectively within applications
- Where appropriate, help develop relationships with potential funders and identify opportunities for longer-term support
We are not starting from scratch. Integrate Hope has successfully secured and delivered funded community programmes and has established relationships across Birmingham and the West Midlands. We are now looking for someone who can bring additional expertise, structure and strategic thinking to help us diversify and grow our income.
The role will be flexible and predominantly remote, with approximately 2–3 hours per week. We value expertise and want this to be a collaborative role where your ideas and experience genuinely influence our future direction.
