Since 1988, Everton in the Community has become a dynamic force for good, harnessing the unifying power of football to drive social change and addressing societal challenges across Liverpool City Region. Supported by a team of over 130 full-time staff and over 200 volunteers, the independently governed and independently financed charity offers an extensive array of more than 60 programmes and initiatives that tackle a diverse range of social issues including health, employability, anti-social behaviour, crime, exploitation, education, dementia, and disability.
Everton in the Community stands firmly beside the most at-risk and most in need members of its local communities, but the needs of the city are ever-growing and ever-evolving and the official charity of Everton Football Club is committed to helping as many people as possible.
About the opportunity
We have a new opportunity for a Fundraising Events & Campaigns Manager to join the team.
As Fundraising Events & Campaigns Manager you will be responsible for developing and delivering Everton in the Community's fundraising events and campaigns strategy, leading a diverse portfolio of flagship fundraising events, mass participation activities, community fundraising initiatives and bespoke donor engagement events that support the charity's long-term fundraising objectives.
As a key member of the fundraising team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Everton in the Community communicates its vision, impact and ambitions. Through innovative event development, compelling fundraising campaigns and powerful storytelling, the role will inspire support, deepen relationships with stakeholders and create meaningful opportunities for individuals, communities and organisations to contribute to the charity's mission.

Safeguarding
To understand the Club’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment.
Who we are looking for
Essentially, we are looking for an individual who has significant experience of successfully developing and managing large-scale fundraising events, mass participation activities and high-value donor events within the charity sector.
Other Skills & Experience Will Include
- A proven track record of delivering fundraising income growth through strategic events, campaigns and supporter engagement initiatives
- Strong understanding of campaign planning, fundraising marketing and integrated communications, with the ability to create compelling supporter journeys and fundraising propositions
- Strong leadership and influencing skills and demonstratable experience of leading, motivating and developing staff, volunteers or project teams to deliver shared objectives
- Sound knowledge of the charity sector, fundraising regulation, donor stewardship principles and fundraising best practice
- Resilient and adaptable, with the confidence to make decisions, solve problems and respond positively to changing priorities and challenges
This role will be offered on a permanent contract working 35 hours per week and will be based at our Everton in the Community Campus, L4
