About Us

We are BS15 CIC is a fast-growing community organisation based in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire. We provide a wide range of projects and services that support the health, wellbeing and resilience of our local community.

In 2025, we are celebrating our 5th anniversary. Over that time, we have grown rapidly and now support over 500 people each week through initiatives including our Food Club, pay-as-you-can café, community kitchen, cooking sessions, gardening and wellbeing activities, and support for older people.

We are currently one of the fastest growing VCSE organisations across BNSSG. As we continue to expand, we are at a pivotal stage where we need to strengthen and diversify our income streams to ensure long-term sustainability.

Job Purpose

This is a new and exciting role within We are BS15. The Fundraising & Events Lead will play a key role in developing and delivering a sustainable fundraising programme, helping to reduce reliance on short-term local grants and build a more diverse and resilient income base.

The postholder will lead on identifying and securing funding opportunities, developing a fundraising strategy, and delivering engaging fundraising activities and events. They will also play an important role in telling the story of our work and impact, helping to inspire support from funders, partners and the wider community.

This role would suit an experienced fundraiser who is confident working independently and is motivated by the opportunity to shape and grow a fundraising function within a small but ambitious organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy & Development

  • Develop and implement a fundraising strategy aligned with organisational priorities
  • Identify and develop a range of income streams, including trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, and individual giving
  • Support the organisation to build unrestricted income and longer-term financial sustainability
  • Maintain a pipeline of funding opportunities and ensure a planned, proactive approach to fundraising

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
