Take action behind the scenes and get involved.

Fundraising Group Members roll up their sleeves and make local fundraising happen. You’ll work with others to plan events, support activities, and help raise vital funds for Marie Curie in your community.

In 2024–2025, our Fundraising Groups raised £2.3 million for Marie Curie, and you could be part of what happens next. Even better, from a recent survey (Feb 2026) 96% of our fundraising volunteers would recommend volunteering to a friend. Bring your ideas, energy, and community spirit to support Marie Curie events and activities as a Fundraising Group Member.

Availability: 2 hours per month

Time: Flexible to suit your schedule

Location: Yeovil or Bridgwater

Criteria: Aged 18 or over

What you’ll do:

  • Help plan and run local fundraising events
  • Share creative ideas and lend a hand
  • Engage with your local community
  • Attend and actively participate in group meetings
  • Advocate for and promote Marie Curie services to encourage people’s support
