About The Role
LGBT Foundation is an impactful, vibrant charity with a wide portfolio of well-established services and rapidly developing new initiatives aimed at meeting the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people.
The Fundraising & Marketing Team at LGBT Foundation is a small, yet collaborative group of professionals dedicated to advancing the visibility and impact of the UK’s leading health and wellbeing charity. The team is responsible for implementing wide-ranging fundraising, communication and marketing strategies. By leveraging various channels such social media channels, email marketing, the website, video, OOH advertising and traditional media, the team strives to support the national visibility, brand awareness, impact storytelling and income generation of the charity by attracting, engaging and mobilising a growing supporter base.

This role will provide focused social media, community stewardship, content, campaign and administrative support to the Fundraising and Marketing team at LGBT Foundation. The post holder will monitor and respond to social media messages and inboxes, support moderation and community engagement, prepare and schedule content, and assist with digital marketing, fundraising campaigns, event promotion, inbox triage and database administration.
Our Fundraising and Marketing Officer will work collaboratively with other team members, departments, and external partners to deliver against the charity’s agreed strategic goals.
LGBT Foundation’s Fundraising and Marketing Officer will…
- Directly report to the Digital Marketing and Campaigns Manager, with a dotted line to the Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager, providing regular updates on project timelines, social media performance, and creative content development.
- Support the day-to-day operation of our social media channels through content creation, scheduling, and copywriting.
- Work with Fundraising and Marketing colleagues to co-produce and design digital content that engages LGBTQ+ people, tells the story of our life changing work and inspires support for the charity.
- Provide project support to the Fundraising & Marketing team on a range of campaigns, appeals and projects.
- Pro-actively promote LGBT Foundation’s fundraising products across a range of channels.
- Provide administrative support for the team, ensuring good audience stewardship and mobilisation across digital channels, inbox management, and digital moderation.
