Fundraising Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Fundraising Officer to join our fundraising team and help deliver our ambitious plans for growth.

This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting fundraising activity across community and events fundraising, corporate Charity of the Year partnerships, trusts and grants and project partnerships.

You will play a central role in creating excellent supporter experiences, ensuring every supporter feels valued and connected to the difference they are helping us to make.

You will take ownership of supporter journeys from initial enquiry through to delivery, thanking and recognition and future engagement.

Working closely with the Fundraising Manager you will help implement Dentaid’s fundraising strategy, explore new income streams and strengthen relationships with existing supporters and partners.

Main Duties of the Role

As Fundraising Officer, you will:

  • Manage and deliver a range of fundraising activities and supporter journeys from planning through to delivery, thanking and recognition and future engagement.
  • Create engaging supporter stewardship journeys across community and events, corporate Charity of the Year partnerships, trusts and grants and project partners.
  • Build strong relationships with supporters, responding to enquiries and communicating effectively through a range of channels including email, telephone, mail, online platforms and face to face engagement.
  • Ensure supporters receive meaningful stewardship, recognition and opportunities to deepen their involvement with Dentaid.
  • Maintain accurate records of supporter engagement and communications using Dentaid’s CRM system Salesforce.
  • Work closely with our marketing team to gather patient stories, case studies and metrics to support communications, impact reporting and social media activity.
  • Attend networking and industry events and exhibitions to promote Dentaid’s work and identify new opportunities.
  • Support Trusts & Grants fundraising by completing smaller grant applications and impact reports.
  • Use data and supporter feedback to improve fundraising approaches and contribute to annual planning.
  • Work collaboratively across the fundraising team, adapting priorities and supporting different areas of work as needed.
  • Build positive relationships with internal teams and follow agreed processes to ensure effective delivery of fundraising activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
