About the Company

Our client, an independent charity focused on responsible investment and the social and environmental impact of the financial system, is seeking a Fundraising Officer to join its Fundraising team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the role will coordinate fundraising activity across the organisation. This will include tracking prospective funders, supporting funding applications and engagement, and providing administrative support for events. The successful candidate will work closely with senior fundraising leads to improve coordination, strengthen fundraising processes and help secure the income needed to deliver the charity’s work.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate fundraising activities across the organisation.
  • Track prospective funders, applications and engagement activity.
  • Support the preparation and management of funding applications.
  • Provide administrative support for fundraising events.
  • Build effective working relationships with senior fundraising leads.
  • Coordinate information and activity across teams to support an effective fundraising approach.
  • Manage fundraising-related projects and maintain accurate records.
  • Support donor care and respond professionally to funder enquiries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve fundraising processes and ways of working.
  • Communicate clearly with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project management, ideally within fundraising or a comparable client-facing environment.
  • Experience in donor care, customer support or a related area.
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues at different levels of seniority.
  • Commitment to improving processes and embracing change.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities effectively.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary: £32,797.74 per annum, plus an 8% employer pension contribution.
