Help Time to Give Network
Build and deliver a focused fundraising strategy.
We’re a CIC turning senior professionals’ time into charitable impact and need an experienced fundraiser who can help us identify, prioritise and pursue the right funding opportunities.
What difference will you make?
Funding is one of the principal constraints on how quickly Time to Give Network can grow and increase its impact.
Your expertise could help us build a stronger and more sustainable funding base, enabling us to invest in technology, partnerships, community growth and the infrastructure required to scale.
The impact extends beyond Time to Give Network itself.
Our model enables senior professionals to use their time and experience to generate donations for charities while creating valuable professional connections. As our community and activity grow, so does the potential charitable impact.
As a Community Interest Company, we are not driven by maximising profit. Surplus generated by our fundraising activities, after operating costs, is distributed to charitable causes.
A strong fundraising strategy could therefore give Time to Give Network the resources and stability needed to significantly expand the social impact our model can generate.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced fundraising professional who can combine strategic thinking with a willingness to get involved in practical delivery.
You will ideally have at least three years’ professional experience in one or more of:
- Fundraising strategy
- Major donor fundraising
- Trusts and foundations
- Corporate fundraising
- Philanthropy
- Institutional fundraising
- Social investment
- Fundraising consultancy

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience working with charities, CICs, social enterprises or other purpose-led organisations would be particularly useful.
The most important qualities for us are sound judgement, initiative and the ability to prioritise. We are a lean organisation with many potential funding routes, so we need someone who can help us distinguish between opportunities worth pursuing and those that are unlikely to justify the time involved.
You should be comfortable working independently and moving between strategy and execution. We would value someone who can challenge our thinking constructively rather than simply implementing what we already have in mind.
You will also need to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and be able to translate an innovative proposition into a clear and compelling funding case.
Experience of successfully securing funding would clearly be valuable, but we are equally interested in someone who understands how strong fundraising programmes are built and can help us create an approach that is sustainable rather than dependent on isolated opportunities.
Above all, we are looking for someone who would enjoy taking meaningful ownership of fundraising alongside our CEO and senior team.

We have built our proposition, technology and supporting collateral. We are now looking for an experienced fundraising professional who can help us develop and drive a focused, practical funding strategy.
This is not simply an advisory role. We would like someone who can become a trusted senior fundraising resource and help us maintain momentum.
Depending on your expertise, you could help us:
- Develop and refine our fundraising strategy
- Prioritise the most promising sources of funding
- Identify appropriate trusts, foundations, corporate funders and other supporters
- Shape compelling approaches to prospective funders
- Strengthen our case for support and fundraising messaging
- Help coordinate fundraising activity
- Support selected conversations with potential funders
- Make relevant introductions where appropriate
- Help us decide which opportunities are worth pursuing – and which are not
- Develop a more repeatable and sustainable fundraising approach
We are particularly interested in someone comfortable moving between strategy and practical execution.
You will ideally have at least three years’ professional experience in fundraising strategy, major donor fundraising, trusts and foundations, corporate fundraising, philanthropy, institutional fundraising, social investment or fundraising consultancy.
The role is remote and flexible. We are more interested in expertise, judgement and outcomes than prescribing a fixed number of hours.
