Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week

Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work to support events. Any additional hours worked outside of normal working hours will be accrued and taken back as Time Off in Lieu (TOIL).

Location: Sale Road, Norwich, NR7 with travel to other sites in and around Norfolk and Waveney as and when required. The role will require travel therefore a driver’s license with business insurance and access to a vehicle essential for this role. Mileage is paid at 55p per mile for cars after your home to work base mileage is deducted.

Salary: £27,764 per annum

We're looking for a Fundraising Support Officer (Community and Events) to join our growing Fundraising Team and help raise vital funds to support mental health services across Norfolk and Waveney.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and delivering inspiring fundraising events, supporting community fundraisers, and creating meaningful experiences that encourage people to support Norfolk and Waveney Mind. All funds raised helps us make a difference to local people experiencing mental health challenges.

About The Role

No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role. From planning fundraising events and supporting at charity events ensuring excellent supporter care, you will be at the heart of our fundraising activity.

Working closely with colleagues, volunteers, supporters and external partners, you will help deliver an engaging programme of fundraising events and activities that raise both income and awareness of our work.

Role Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering a portfolio of fundraising events and community initiatives.
  • Supporting individuals, groups and organisations fundraising on behalf of Norfolk and Waveney Mind.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for event participants, volunteers and supporters.
  • Building strong relationships with community fundraisers and providing excellent stewardship throughout their fundraising journey.
  • Coordinating event logistics, venues, suppliers, budgets and risk assessments.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting through our CRM system.
  • Working with our Marketing and Communications Team to promote fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Supporting the development of new fundraising opportunities within local communities.
  • Attending events and representing the charity across Norfolk and Waveney.

About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and committed to making a difference.

You Will Ideally Have

  • Experience of organising and delivering events.
  • Experience in community, individual or corporate fundraising.
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience using CRM or supporter database systems.
  • A positive, flexible approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle - Essential

Most importantly, you will be passionate about delivering outstanding experiences for supporters and helping us grow our impact across Norfolk and Waveney.
