WIILMA exists to reduce loneliness & isolation, and increase community cohesion.

We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Fundraising & Sustainability Co-leads to help generate much needed funding for our innovative community work.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience of raising funds or building sustainable income streams from diverse sources.
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, innovative approach.
  • Collaborative approach, able to work in partnership with others for the greater good.

This role is for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who will utilise their passion for fundraising and sponsorship to support our community cohesion, loneliness and isolation reduction work.

What will you be doing?

We are seeking one or more dedicated and enthusiastic individuals who will bring their passion for fundraising & sustainability to support our work.

You'll play a pivotal role increasing vital financial resources to help us sustain and grow our work. A fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for our mission to make a tangible impact on the lives of individuals and communities.

Key responsibilities to be shared among the team

Fundraising strategy & planning

  • Help develop a fundraising function & strategy, establishing diverse income streams to potentially include grants, corporate partnerships, individual giving, and community fundraising.
  • Identify & cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors & large funders.
  • Work collaboratively to align fundraising efforts with strategic goals.

Grants management

  • Oversee research and development of compelling grant applications/ proposals to charitable trusts, foundations, and government agencies.
  • Build strong relationships, help with reporting requirements.

Corporate partnerships

  • Develop and implement strategies for corporate sponsorships and collaborations.
  • Manage corporate partnership agreements.

Individual giving

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain individual donors, online campaigns, direct mail, and major donor programs.

Events

  • Planning and execution of fundraising events

Volunteer management

  • Help with recruiting, training, supporting a collaborative team of fundraising volunteers.

Reporting & evaluation

  • Track and analyse fundraising performance using key metrics and reporting tools.
  • Prepare and present reports on fundraising progress

Time commitment

A flexible role, meant to be shared with others. The time commitment can be discussed and tailored to the individual's availability.
