What are we looking for?
Ideally you will have significant experience in fundraising or grant writing, coupled with good written and oral communication skills and comfortable working with a range of stakeholders.
A background or significant interest in green or environmental issues is a welcome advantage.
To be effective in this role we seek a minimum 6-month or longer term commitment. However, our friendly team will also provide you with training and support to develop in your role.

What will you be doing?
Flexible, outcomes-focussed role as a Programme Fundraiser with an emphasis on grant writing, use your expertise and experience to support fundraising projects for climate change and environmental issues, as well as rolling up your sleeves and getting involved.

Reporting to either our Operations Director or the Lead Fundraiser, the focus is likely to include coordinating many aspects of fundraising drafting funding proposals; participating in developing in fundraising activity; researching potential funders, assisting with crowd-funding initiatives (including writing pitches), helping with marketing and media (dependent upon experience).
Depending on candidate's interest, we offer options to manage fundraising projects (e.g. hedgerow development, clean rivers, etc) the role may include bid writing, grant applications, digital fundraising, and preparing propositions for funding.
