An Elite US Firm Seeks a Funds Finance Associate
An Elite US firm is seeking a 3–4 PQE Funds Finance Associate to join its highly regarded Finance team in London. The firm is open to considering both England & Wales-qualified lawyers based in London and Luxembourg-qualified lawyers with relevant funds finance experience who are looking to join its London practice.
Responsibilities
You will work on a broad range of sophisticated domestic and cross-border funds finance matters, including:
- Advising leading private equity, credit, and alternative investment fund clients on complex financing transactions
- Acting for lenders and borrowers on subscription facilities, NAV facilities, hybrid facilities, and other fund-level financing arrangements
- Advising on the financing aspects of fund formations, acquisitions, investments, and portfolio transactions
- Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, intercreditor arrangements, and ancillary finance documentation
- Advising on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional financing structures
- Working closely with the firm's market-leading private funds, private equity, and banking & finance teams
- Liaising directly with clients, lenders, sponsors, counsel, and other advisers
- Taking responsibility for matters and playing an active role in managing transactions from inception through to completion

Qualifications
- 3–4 PQE experience in funds finance, leveraged finance, banking & finance, or a closely related practice
- England & Wales qualified candidates based in London, or Luxembourg-qualified candidates with relevant experience
- Strong technical knowledge of finance documentation and transaction structures
- Experience advising financial institutions, private equity sponsors, investment funds, or other sophisticated institutional clients
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong academic background
- Ability to work effectively on complex, high-value transactions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Commercially astute with strong client-facing skills
