Furniture Fittings Technical Advisor
Permanent, Site based, Full Time, 38.75 hours, Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm

Your new role
As a Furniture Fittings Technical Advisor, you will provide technical product advice, specification guidance and customer support relating to Häfele's extensive range of furniture fittings, architectural hardware, ironmongery, lighting and sliding door systems.
You'll become a trusted product expert, helping customers identify the right solutions for their projects while delivering an excellent customer experience. Working within a structured technical team, you'll receive comprehensive product training and have the opportunity to develop your expertise through a clearly defined career pathway.
This role would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships and helping customers find practical product solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical product advice and support to customers and internal stakeholders via telephone, email and live chat.
- Help customers identify the most suitable products and solutions for their projects and requirements.
- Investigate product enquiries and support customers with appropriate solutions, repairs or replacements where required.
- Support customers throughout their journey, including product enquiries, quotations, orders and delivery updates.
- Develop specialist knowledge of Häfele's furniture fittings, ironmongery, lighting and hardware product ranges.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Assist with the introduction of new products and contribute to the continuous improvement of services and processes.
- Manage customer enquiries through to resolution, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout.
- Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing activities, including maintaining FAQs and supporting internal training initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple departments to achieve business and customer objectives.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality support
- Good technical aptitude and ability to understand product specifications and systems
- Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems (knowledge of Salesforce beneficial)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, or schematics
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workload
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
