WE’RE HIRING | FURNITURE SALES SPECIALIST
We’re looking for an experienced and confident salesperson to join our small, close-knit team at our showroom in Arnprior, near Stirling.
This is a little different from your typical retail sales role.
You’ll be working with customers looking for beautiful, quality pieces for their homes, getting to know our products inside out and using your knowledge and experience to help people find the right solution.
You’ll also take ownership of orders from the initial sale through to completion, while playing an important part in the day-to-day running and presentation of our showroom.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in customer-facing sales
- Is confident having conversations with customers and progressing a sale
- Genuinely cares about providing a great customer experience
- Is proactive and notices what needs doing without always being asked
- Is organised and comfortable taking ownership of their work
- Has an interest in furniture, interiors, design, materials or styling
- Is comfortable learning new software and technology
- Works well as part of a small team and enjoys having a laugh along the way

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Experience in furniture, interiors, home furnishings or a similar industry would be a bonus, but it isn’t essential. We can teach you about our products and how we work. What matters most is that you’re interested, willing to learn and confident working with customers.
What we can offer:
- Full-time | Tuesday to Saturday | 9:00am–5:00pm
- Competitive basic salary + commission
- Free onsite parking
- A varied role with plenty of responsibility and the opportunity to have a genuine say in how our showroom develops.
