We're currently looking for a Furniture Technician to join our field-based team, covering the Isle of Wight. Every day will bring new challenges, different locations and the satisfaction of seeing the results of your craftsmanship first-hand.
The Role
As a Furniture Technician, you'll visit customers in their homes and workplaces, assessing damage, diagnosing faults, and carrying out high-quality repairs to a wide range of furniture. You'll work independently, managing your own workload while being supported by a team that values your expertise, ideas and commitment to excellence.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes ownership of their results and gains satisfaction from restoring items that customers value.

What You'll Be Doing
- Visiting customers to assess and repair upholstery, leather, wooden furniture and related items
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out professional repairs to a consistently high standard
- Completing accurate reports and submitting information promptly
- Working towards first-visit resolution and quality targets
- Promoting furniture care products where appropriate
- Maintaining company tools, equipment and vehicle to a professional standard
- Sharing feedback and suggestions that help drive continuous improvement
Essential
What We're Looking For
- Aged 18 or over
- Full UK driving licence (up to 6 penalty points accepted)
- Proven hands-on repair experience, ideally involving furniture, wood, leather or similar craftsmanship skills
- Confidence working independently in customers' homes
- A professional, customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Effective communication and time-management skills
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset
- The ability to follow established processes while adapting to individual customer needs

Salary
£30,832.77 - £32,659.76 per annum dependent on experience
