So, what exactly does our Fusion Programme Manager do?
We're looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Fusion Programme Manager to lead the development and delivery of our Oracle Fusion AI and Continuous Improvement roadmap. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how one of the UK's leading train operators uses technology to improve processes, enhance user experience and deliver better outcomes for our colleagues and customers. As our Programme Manager, you'll own and lead the Oracle Fusion roadmap, ensuring it continues to deliver value across Finance, Procurement, People and wider corporate functions.
You'll also be involved in;
- Driving the adoption of new Oracle capabilities, translating quarterly releases and emerging technologies into meaningful business improvements.
- Championing continuous improvement across ERP and HCM processes, promoting standardisation, simplification and excellent user experiences.
- Overseeing the end-to-end delivery of enhancements including impact assessments, testing, deployment planning and successful transition into business-as-usual support.
- Managing complex dependencies across projects, suppliers, technical teams and business functions to maintain delivery momentum.
- Building strong partnerships across Finance, People, Procurement, IT and operational teams acting as the bridge between business ambition and technical delivery.
- Leading governance forums, stakeholder engagement and communications, ensuring informed decision making and clear accountability.
- Supporting change adoption through effective training, coaching and engagement activities.
- Ensuring all platform changes meet governance, security, compliance, audit and data privacy requirements.
- Improving reporting, management information and data quality to enable better insight and benefits tracking.
- Managing supplier relationships and lead managed support contract renewals when required.
- Defining, monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, measuring service performance, process efficiency, automation benefits and user adoption.
- Leading benefits realisation activity, ensuring investments deliver measurable value and inform future roadmap decisions.

What you'll need
As our Fusion Programme Manager, you'll bring the experience, leadership and commercial awareness needed to deliver complex, business critical change. You'll be confident operating at pace, building strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders and turning ambitious plans into tangible outcomes.
You will need to demonstrate:
- Significant programme management experience, successfully delivering large scale enterprise system and transformational change programmes.
- Experience working with ERP and HCM platforms, driving continuous improvement and business benefits.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects and programmes from inception through to delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, engage and lead colleagues and partners at all levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and business development skills, with the confidence to build consensus and deliver successful outcomes.
- A strong track record of people leadership, including leading, developing and motivating high-performing teams.
- The ability to navigate complex challenges, make informed decisions and develop solutions.
- Experience of benefits realisation, programme governance and KPI tracking to ensure successful delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Experience of leading high-value tender and procurement processes.
- A sound understanding of cost control, budget management and the preparation of formal business cases and programme documentation.
- A collaborative approach, with a passion for working across teams and creating an inclusive environment where people can thrive.

It would be great if you also have:
- Experience of working with Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM solutions.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled enterprise systems, automation technologies.
- Experience in regulated or complex operational environments.
- Formal qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP, Agile or APMG Change Management, supported by substantial practical delivery experience.
