Futures Associate – 2027 Graduates – Investment Management

The Futures Program is a full-time, two-year rotational development program for high-potential individuals from any discipline interested in Investment Management. At Franklin Templeton, you will join a global organization that values diverse perspectives, collaboration, and continuous learning, while gaining meaningful work experience, professional development, mentorship, and exposure to key areas of the business. Whether you are a recent graduate or will graduate in summer 2027, this is an opportunity to begin your career in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Within the Futures Program, this role is aligned to Investment Management and designed for individuals interested in financial markets, research, and analysis. Associates build experience through project-based and analytical assignments while gaining exposure to different teams and business perspectives. Development is supported through on-the-job experience, training, networking, and mentorship from a Franklin Templeton leader. Associates build a strong foundation in the industry while learning how investment professionals evaluate opportunities across public and private markets and use data, AI, and digital tools to deliver client outcomes.

How it Works:

  • The program consists of four six-month rotations designed to build professional skills through meaningful contributions to team goals.
  • The first rotation provides foundational exposure to Franklin Templeton’s products and clients.
  • Associates build a broader understanding of the firm before moving into rotations more closely aligned to their strategic focus area.
  • Futures Associates aligned to Investment Management will join our London office in September 2027.

What will help you be successful in this role:

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree by September 2027 in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Internship or relevant experience in investment management.

Technical Skills

  • Comfortable using data and digital tools to support analysis and decision-making.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to synthesise complex information and communicate insights clearly.

Soft Skills

  • Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy and quality.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets, investing, or the broader financial services industry.

An ideal Futures Associate is intellectually curious, collaborative, analytical, and ready to “think big, ask big.” Successful candidates bring strong communication skills and a growth mindset, with the motivation to solve complex problems, communicate ideas clearly, and contribute thoughtfully in a collaborative environment.
