Role Description

The Fx Consultant is a full-time remote role responsible for advising business clients on foreign exchange strategies and international payment solutions. Day-to-day activities include:

The Fx Consultant will work closely with sales and relationship management teams to:

  • Design tailored solutions
  • Prepare proposals
  • Support onboarding of new clients

The role involves:

  • Monitoring client transactions
  • Ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Providing ongoing performance insights and market updates

This position also contributes to improving FX processes, tools, and documentation to enhance the overall client experience.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of foreign exchange markets, currency products, and cross-border payment workflows.
  • Experience in client advisory or consulting within financial services, fintech, banking, or treasury management.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to interpret market data and assess risk exposure.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex FX concepts to non-specialist stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Excel and other analytical or reporting tools; familiarity with FX trading or payment platforms is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple client priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations related to international payments and FX is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
