FX Sales Executive

Salary: Strong base salary range (Dependent on experience) + Uncapped Commission

Location: London Bridge area

We understand that sales can be challenging and that foreign exchange is a complex market, which is why we have invested in a highly experienced Sales Coach to support individuals starting their career in FX Sales.

About the Role:

This is a new business sales position where your key focus will be supporting with onboarding new clients. You will speak with finance departments to understand their FX exposure and associated risks. In the early stages of the role, there is a strong focus on gathering information and booking meetings.

Any meetings you book will be attended alongside a senior specialist, allowing you to learn from each interaction and be better prepared as your role progresses to the next stage of responsibility. For the first 18 months, this role has a strong emphasis on cold calling.

Key Duties:

  • Make outbound cold calls to businesses
  • Fully immerse yourself in our training and development programme
  • Learn and understand the FX markets and the factors that influence market movements
  • Keep the CRM system accurate and up to date
  • Use lead-sourcing software
  • Use LinkedIn to identify and target potential clients
  • Collaborate with Compliance to understand business risk appetite and improve lead sourcing effectiveness

Candidate Requirements:

To be considered for this role we would like to see some prior sales experience (industry experience is not essential) however we are also looking to speak with individuals who have a genuine interest in a career in sales.

When starting out, we look for candidates who are:

  • Well-articulated and confident on the telephone
  • Driven, with a strong work ethic
  • Resilient and able to handle rejection and pressure
  • Keen to learn about the FX markets and develop their sales skills
