Our client is a leading broker within the financial markets, providing a fast-paced, professional environment where operational excellence and client service are central to the business.

As the business continues to develop, they are looking for an FX Settlements Trade Support professional to join their OTC FX Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across the FX trade lifecycle while working closely with Front Office, Treasury, Finance, Compliance, Technology, clients, and external counterparties.

The Opportunity

Sitting within OTC FX Operations, you’ll play a key role in supporting the FX Deliverable business, ensuring settlement obligations are completed accurately and within strict market deadlines.

This isn’t simply a processing role. You’ll be working across the business, building relationships with clients and counterparties, resolving settlement issues, and contributing to improvements in processes, controls, and systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing incoming receipts and outgoing payments for deliverable FX transactions
  • Monitoring settlements across multiple currencies
  • Working directly with Front Office on trade queries, amendments, and rolls
  • Partnering with Treasury and Finance to ensure timely funding and settlement
  • Building relationships with clients and resolving operational queries
  • Performing payment netting with clients and liquidity providers
  • Investigating settlement exceptions and escalating risks
  • Supporting operational controls and regulatory requirements
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
  • Contributing to system enhancements and operational change projects

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally bring:

  • 1+ year of experience within FX Settlements, Payments, or Operations
  • A strong understanding of the end-to-end FX settlement lifecycle
  • Knowledge of deliverable FX products and settlement processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • The ability to perform effectively against strict market deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • An understanding of operational risk and controls
  • Intermediate Excel skills

Experience with OTC FX, FX Options, SWIFT, CLS, TradAir, DealHub, or similar platforms would be advantageous.
