Senior Business Analyst - FX and Money Market Products
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in FX and Money Market (MMT) products to lead the analysis phase of a strategic Front Office transformation programme within a leading investment bank. This role will be responsible for delivering a feasibility study for new product functionality, defining business requirements, shaping target-state solutions, and producing delivery estimates to support project approval and funding decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the completion of a feasibility study for new FX and Money Markets product capabilities.
- Partner with Front Office stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Analyse and contribute to the design of current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) trade booking and lifecycle workflows.
- Perform detailed analysis across FX and Money Market products, helping define optimal business and technology solutions.
- Map products from term sheets into system templates and conduct detailed pricing model analysis.
- Produce effort, cost, and delivery estimates for Front Office workstreams.
- Act as a key point of contact for trade booking queries and functional issues.
- Prepare project and workstream status reports for stakeholders and governance forums.
- Support ad hoc project requirements, issue resolution, and business initiatives.
- Serve as the primary Front Office contact for analysis activities, tasks, and escalations.

Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive Business Analyst experience within Investment Banking.
- Strong expertise across FX and Money Market asset classes.
- Proven experience working within a top-tier banking environment.
- Excellent product knowledge and the ability to interpret and model products using term sheet information.
- Strong understanding of trade booking processes and complete trade lifecycle management.
- Excellent understanding of P&L, Risk, and Market Data concepts.
- Good overall knowledge of the Murex platform.
- Good working knowledge of Bloomberg.
- Strong understanding of:
- Curve construction
- Pricing models
- Trade pricing
- Simulation methodologies
- Experience supporting Front Office functions and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of RET interfaces.
- Proven ability to own and drive analysis workstreams from inception through completion.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across business and technology teams.

Desirable Skills
- Regulatory knowledge and experience within Financial Markets or Investment Banking environments.
