Trust Foundation Year 1 in General Surgery and Urology

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has a vacancy for a trust Foundation Year 1 in General Surgery and Urology at the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital site.

This post is designed to support both emergency and elective services across the surgical division.

This post holder will sit on the FY1 rota with support from the SHO, registrar and consultant team.

Clinical Duties

  • Undertaking urology ward rounds with registrars/consultants
  • Requesting and monitoring of diagnostics and discharge summaries
  • Attending clinic and theatre in urology
  • Out of hours general surgery cover on a 1 in 10 rota

Duration

6 months, extendable to 1 year.
