G2 Senior Commercial Manager
The G2 Senior Commercial Manager will lead complex procurement and commercial activities, ensuring contracts deliver value, compliance and high-quality outcomes. The role is responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement across commercial operations.

Description
- Lead procurement processes to deliver value for money and achieve organisational objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance standards and service delivery requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with public sector procurement legislation, policies and governance requirements.
- Develop and implement procurement and commercial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Negotiate contracts and oversee contract performance management.
- Provide expert procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency and cost savings.
- Support and develop procurement and commercial team members.

Profile
You will have:
- Proven procurement and commercial management experience, ideally within the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and governance requirements.
- Experience managing contracts and supplier relationships.
- A track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to provide strategic commercial advice to senior stakeholders.
- Experience analysing market trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Job Offer
- Salary: £67,609 per annum.
- London Weighting Allowance: £4,281 per annum.
- Recruitment and Retention Allowance: £3,000 per annum.
- Permanent position based in Birmingham, Bristol, London, Normanton (Calder), Sunderland, Warrington.
