Amplitude Implementation Consultant
London | Inside IR35
£500 a day
3 - 6 month contract
This is an opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile digital analytics transformation. You will lead the implementation of Amplitude alongside an existing GA4 setup, helping to establish a robust analytics framework while supporting a fast-paced delivery timeline.

They are a well-established consumer-facing organisation with a large digital presence and a strong focus on customer experience. Their analytics function is continuing to evolve, with investment in modern measurement capabilities and product analytics tools. Due to increasing demand and a new Amplitude rollout, they are looking for an experienced contractor to support a critical implementation project.

The Role and Deliverables
- Lead the implementation of Amplitude alongside an existing GA4 environment.
- Configure and deploy event tracking through Google Tag Manager.
- Ensure Amplitude tracking aligns with the established GA4 data layer specification.
- Work with stakeholders to understand tracking requirements and measurement needs.
- Support the migration of analytics capabilities into Amplitude and deliver project milestones within agreed timelines.
- Provide guidance on Amplitude best practice and support the ongoing management of the platform following implementation.

- Strong experience implementing and configuring Amplitude in a commercial environment.
- Ability to deploy and manage analytics events through Google Tag Manager.
- Strong understanding of GA4 and how it compares with Amplitude.
- Knowledge of Adobe Analytics and the differences between major digital analytics platforms.
- Experience working with data layers and event tracking frameworks.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a delivery-focused environment.
